Overview

A Texas State Fair-inspired visual identity and coordinated event materials for HealthTrackRx’s Dallas National Sales Meeting.

My Role

Visual direction, main event branding, coordination with other designers, vendor management, presentation customization, and event photography.

01 \ Defining the Theme

The National Sales Meeting brought together sales staff, department leaders, executives, and guest speakers to share ideas and discuss the year ahead. With the meeting taking place in Dallas, leadership wanted a distinctly Texan feel.

We chose the Texas State Fair as the theme and used “Think Big” as the central message. I was responsible for the visual direction and main branding, giving the event a consistent look across its many materials.

02 \ Directing the Work

Due to the overwhelming number of materials needed to make this conference “pop,” we brainstormed multiple avenues of messaging. There were brochures, presentations, videos, thank you cards, and much more. We wanted to ensure this conference wouldn’t just be inspirational; it’d be one they’d never forget.

I was responsible for the visual direction. We would treat this conference like we would a major tradeshow event or marketing campaign; present multiple ideas, tweak them based on feedback, and then divide out the work between the other designers and myself. I was responsible for the main branding and ensuring visual consistency as well as vendor management. Presentation templates were provided and customized for each presentation, including the addition of animations and custom videos.

03 \ Brand Diversification
& Execution

The visual system carried through the presentations, environmental graphics, awards, and attendee materials. A Big Tex standee created a photo opportunity, and I photographed headshots and event activity.

The team delivered a coordinated set of physical and digital materials that carried the “Think Big” message throughout the meeting.
